Brielle's Angel Debut!

Brielle was asked to be the angel in our ward's nativity reenactment last Saturday. It was a really neat experience for our family. We got to pretend we were wandering in an ancient marketplace in Bethlehem at the time of Christ's birth. We ate pita bread, chicken kabobs, olives and fruit plus there was a water well stocked full with bottled water! We sat in families on the floor and ate then we got to watch a beautiful production of the Christmas story. Brielle was perfect for the part (can we say type casting!) She held her pose so gracefully. We were so proud of her. What a neat experience for her!

Oh, this is our Christmas tree. Pretty huh?

Bah Humbug!

Not everyone is happy about the holiday season.

How can you say no to that....it's sooo pretty!

As many of you know Baron and I have sworn off Diet coke for many months but unfortunately we have relapsed. I am blaming society, Christmas becoming too commercial, the government, and....oh yeah Obama.....and any other scape goat you can think of.
So HO! HO! HO!, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas......pass the Diet Coke!

Colonel (Dadio) Taggart's Promotion

LTC Taggart, my Dad, got promoted to Colonel today. This is a big promotion and I am so proud of him. There were many in attendance for the ceremony including family, colleagues, and friends. Some kind words were spoken by General Tarbet about Dad's commitment and dedication to his various positions in the guard. Colonel Dad also was able to say a few words of gratitude to the family and especially for Mom's support to him.

We're Back to Bloggin....I guess.

This is Brielle and her teacher, Mrs. Wachsmann. She is an amazing teacher to Brie (what a relief!)
Brie looking awesome in her Cleopatra get up during the parade!

Colbyman dressed as Wario was as cute as a button in his costume!

Colby and his teacher, Ms. Elder. (We think this is her weekend wear.)

The kids had a great Halloween this year complete with too many parties, too much candy, and too many opportunities to dawn their Halloween costumes but hey that is how it's supposed to be!
