New Member of the Family

We recently acquired a new member of the family from the Utah Humane Society. He came with the name "Gus" and he's a purebred Scottish Fold. We enhanced his name to include some Scottish flair to Argus MacPuddy but we still call him Gus. He's about 5-6yrs old and has a great temperament and personality. He's very mellow, loving, and quiet (almost too quiet). The Scottish Fold breed is known for the "folded" ears. However, even within the breed, the folded ears are actually quite rare. I'm sure you'll be seeing much more of him in the future, but for now here's a few pics we've been able to get of him.

Celebrating the many days of Brielle!

We had three celebrations this year for Brielle's 7th birthday. The first one I failed to take any pictures of but it took place at Grandma and Grandpa Taggart's house on New Year's day. Brie shared the celebration with her cousin Richard who has a birthday in the month of January also. They had cake, presents, and fun with family. The next party was Brie's actual birthday and it started early in the morning with chocolate chip pancakes and a new bike! Brie is not a morning person so it took her a little while to warm up to everything. That night we had Grandma and Grandpa Barker over for a spaghetti dinner and more presents. And finally on the 9th of January Brie got a friends birthday party. After that week of planning, cooking, hosting, etc I was exhausted and got a cold to show for it. All in all it was a fun week and I know it was exciting and memorable for Brie. Happy Birthday Breedle Bug!!!!!
