We had our Halloween party at home this year with the Farmington Barker's and Airie and Abram. We had food, games and trick or treating. It was a great time had by all! Baron and I were dressed as an established 1950's couple. Brie was a beautiful hula girl and Colby was dressed as his idol, Thomas the Train.Paula and Laur dressed up as a gumball machine and Mr. Penny. Grandma's costume was a big hit with the kids. They would ask Grandpa for pennies to put in the gumball slot and out would pop a balloon(gumball). Very clever!!!
We had the kids paint a design on their pumpkin and then Baron would carve it out for them. This is Brie's cute kitty!
This is my attempt at carving into the flesh of the pumpkin without going all the way through. It turned out okay.

Thanks Donette, for all of your hard work, especially all the great decorating details, to make this party a fun-filled success. You and Baron made the perfect '50s couple. He ought to dress in the 50's style more often...what a stud! You certainly looked the part, hair and glasses were great. Has the red lipstick worn off yet?? We enjoyed the games and really liked the pumpkin soup. It was fun to see the kids in their costumes. Thanks for getting us all together. (Sorry your brother has been so sick and hope he's doing better.)
